Philippe
was born in Marseille, in 1971. He moved to Sydney, Australia, in 1991
and stayed there until 1997. When he decided to relocate to europe,
his fear of flying forced him to come back overland (!). He made the
Sydney to Dublin journey in just over ten months. In Dublin he graduated
in photography at the Dunlaoghaire Institute of Arts, Design and Technology.
In 2004 he decided to move to London where he completed an Art and Design
Post Graduate Certificate in Education. When he is not in Africa working
on The Other Africa Project,
Philippe teaches at secondary level, in London, where he lives with
his Irish partner and his British kids Lola and Luca. |
